The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, commonly known as Nana B, has rejected claims made by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that Brigadier General Michael Opoku is assisting the NPP in rigging the upcoming elections in the Ashanti Region.
This follows accusations from Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the NDC, who alleged that Brigadier General Opoku had been instructed by President Akufo-Addo to train NPP vigilantes at military facilities, including Asuture.
Gyamfi also claimed to have photographic evidence showing that military facilities were being used for such training.
Additionally, he linked these vigilantes to the violence that occurred during the Ayawaso by-elections.
