The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has reiterated that the party has no regrets over its decision to reshuffle its parliamentary leadership.

The leadership changes saw Tamale South MP Haruna Iddrisu, Ketu North MP James Klutse Avedzi, and Asawase MP Muntaka Mubarak removed from their roles as Minority Leader, Deputy Minority Leader, and Minority Chief Whip, respectively.

While some party members questioned the timing of the reshuffle, especially with the 2024 general elections fast approaching, Nketiah defended the decision, asserting that it was necessary for strengthening the party.

Speaking at a campaign rally in the Ajumako Enyam Essiam Constituency of the Central Region on Thursday, November 21, Nketiah noted that the leadership change had already made the party more attractive and better positioned for the upcoming elections.
