Over 200 people have received skills training as an independent candidate pledges to drive economic growth and job creation in Amasaman.

The move is to provide vital skills and start-up kits to over 200 local youth to foster economic growth and self-employment within the Ga West municipality.

The initiative, dubbed "Job and Cash," trained young individuals in various trades, including soap making, cake making, juice making, meat pie making, shower gel making, amongst others, equipping them with essential skills for the job market.

The independent Parliamentary candidate (Bishop Samuel Kwame Denoo), who is poised to win the Amasaman seat in the upcoming December 7 general elections envisages to empower over 2000 individuals to enhance their livelihoods.
