Thousands of elderly individuals in the New Juaben South Constituency have benefited from the 'Shop and Go' initiative introduced by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the area, Michael Okyere Baafi.
Launched in 2020, the 'Shop and Go' initiative aims to alleviate the financial burdens of the elderly, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
This year's event saw the MP distribute essential goods, including groceries, farm produce such as yams and cassava, poultry, and clothing.
The beneficiaries were also given free health screenings, further supporting their well-being.
