Ghana coach Otto Addo has reacted to critics after his failure to guide the Black Stars to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Despite overseeing one of Ghana's worst qualification campaigns, Addo did not apologise for the team's poor performances but instead sought to justify the results.

Ghana secured just three points out of a possible 15, confirming their elimination ahead of their final match against Niger in Accra on Monday.

The Black Stars missed a crucial opportunity to remain in contention after surrendering a one-goal lead in a 1-1 draw with Angola last Friday, leaving the Palancas Negras unbeaten in the qualifiers.
