The Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah(Mrs) has urged women leaders to prioritize their health by undergoing regular medical screening.
She advised that they should not wait to fall sick before undergoing medical screening as this could affect their well-being underscoring the need for them to do it regularly.
Speaking at a Women's Leadership Development Course organized by the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Centre and the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR),COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa stressed that health is cornerstone for sustained energy, focus, and resilience in their professional and personal lives. "Don't fall sick before going for health screening," she advised, noting the need for individuals to be mindful of their dietary choices.
The two-week event which ends on November 15, 2024, has brought together leaders from security services and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) across Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Gambia, and Sierra Leone.
