The branch of the ruling in Sweden has donated to support the party's national and constituency campaign ahead of the 2024 general election.
The donation, made under the party's 'Adopt A Constituency' initiative, includes four motorbikes and 1,500 T-shirts to be distributed among the Okaikwei North Constituency, Tema East Constituency, and the National Headquarters of the party.
Nana Shaki Frimpong, Chairman of the party's Council of Elders in Sweden, presented the logistics at the party's National Headquarters on behalf of his chairman, Richard Oti-Aboagye, on Tuesday, 12 November 2024, and explained the rationale behind the donation. "From our own resources, we were able to get four motorbikes and 1,500 T-shirts.
The party has assigned two constituencies to each external branch, and so each constituency under Sweden will get a motorbike and 500 T-shirts.
