A former General Secretary of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Nana Yaa Jantuah has urged the Electoral Commission (EC) to consider reducing its presidential and parliamentary candidate fees for parties classified as "smaller". According to her, it is problematic to call some parties smaller parties because all political parties pay the same fees to the Electoral Commission, which is GH₵100,000 for presidential and GH₵.10, 000 for parliamentary.
