Award-winning Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician, Kojo Kurankye, better known by the stage name Ras Kuuku has revealed plans for a potential collaboration with highlife icon Daddy Lumba.    Speaking in an exclusive with Hitz FM's Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Monday, November 11, 2024,  the singer shared that he and Daddy Lumba have already discussed the possibility of working together on an original track, not a remake of Lumba's previous hits."We are planning on it, but it will not be a remix [of his old song]," Ras Kuuku clarified, expressing his hope that the timing will soon be right to bring the collaboration to life.

Andy Dosty commended Ras Kuuku for his captivating rendition of Daddy Lumba's classic track Ankwanoma during Lumba's recent 60th birthday celebration.

Reflecting on his admiration for the highlife star, the 'Me Mpaebo' hitmaker noted that his performance at the event was a heartfelt tribute, fueled by his deep respect and appreciation for Daddy Lumba's influence on Ghanaian music.
