Director of IT and Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Edward Omane Boamah, has questioned the legality of recruiting Constituency Collation Officers.
To him, if the Electoral Commission claims the provision of statistics is not mandated by law, then the recruitment of Constituency Collation Officers is not backed by law.
He indicated that the law mandates constituency returning officers to collate results!
