In a photo shared on his Facebook page and sighted by GhanaWeb, President Akufo-Addo was seen shaking hands with the US President-elect, Donald Trump.
He opined that Trump's election outcome demonstrates the great trust Americans have in him. "I am hopeful that, under your leadership, this bond will grow even stronger, paving the way for collaboration in addressing some of the world's most pressing challenges, as we did during your first mandate," part of his message read. "The friendships between Ghana and United states have deep roots, built on mutual respect, shared values and a commitment to democracy and freedom.
