The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has reaffirmed former President Mahama's commitment to improving the quality of education at all levels of the educational ladder. She said, apart from improving upon the free education policy to make it better by bringing to an end the double track system, the NDC would also set up tertiary educational campuses, particularly in the new regions. The NDC running mate made this known when she represented His Excellency John Dramani Mahama at the Meko Bono Festival in Techiman on Saturday, accompanied by Her Excellency, the former First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, and other former government appointees and parliamentary candidates. The MekoBono festival is an event to promote the cultural history and identity of the Bono people, as well as preach peace and ensure unity.
