Businessman Sir Sam Jonah is advocating for a change in Ghana's educational system if the country wants to be competitive.

He is calling for a shift from grades to nurturing innovators and entrepreneurs capable of transforming our economy.

Sam Jonah made this known in a paper he presented on the current state of Ghana. "The way forward is to transform our mindset-a fundamental shift in paradigm; indeed, a new awakening that prioritizes community, country and citizenship.

If Ghana is to compete in the global marketplace of ideas, we must reform our educational mindset.
