Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, the Director of Legal Affairs for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed his disappointment in the President, Nana Akufo-Addo over the region's development pace.
During an interview on Onua FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Edudzi Tamakloe made reference to the number of votes President Akufo-Addo obtained in the Ashanti region in previous elections indicating that it does not correspond with the development projects in that region Edudzi Tamakloe is of the opinion that the developmental projects that should have taken place in the Ashanti region should have been more due to how the residents willingly voted for Nana Addo in 2020. "When you look at the fact that Nana Addo received 1.7 million votes in the Ashanti region alone and you look at the pace of development in the region, it's sad.
The road infrastructure in the Ashanti region is nothing to write home about", he complained. According to Edudzi, he thinks the NPP government can do better for the good people of Ashanti by radically embarking on serious developmental projects to compensate them for the unflinching support.
Edudzi Tamkoe revealed that Nana Akufo-Addo since he resumed power, has been finding it difficult to complete the Kejetia Phase Two in Kumasi started by his predecsssor, John Dramani Mahama.
