Three teenage girls are currently in police custody for their alleged involvement in the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Dennis Owusu Ansah, a recent Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduate who was set to start school on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
The tragic incident took place on Monday night around 7:30 p.m.
in Anloga, Ashanti Region, following a confrontation between Dennis and one of the girls as they were escorting a friend home.
Eyewitnesses reported that during the argument, one of the girls pulled out a knife and stabbed Dennis in the rib, leading to severe bleeding.
