The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) has asked the Civil and Local Governance Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) to reconsider its planned strike action scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2024.

The commission calls for dialogue rather than industrial action to address the salary concerns raised by CLOGSAG.

CLOGSAG on Monday, November 4, announced its decision to strike in response to what it describes as the government's delay in implementing a long-promised salary structure.

According to the association, an agreement was reached over a year and a half ago, yet the changes have not been enacted, leaving civil and local government employees frustrated.
