Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG), is set to begin a nationwide strike on November 7.

This decision follows the government's delay in finalizing a new salary structure, despite a Memorandum of Understanding reached over a year ago.

CLOGSAG initially announced its strike intention on October 22, anticipating the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission would miss its October 31 deadline.

Now, CLOGSAG's Executive Secretary considers the January 1, 2025 implementation date unrealistic and will no longer work with FWSC's CEO, Benjamin Arthur, due to perceived bad faith.
