The Education Policy Institute Africa (EDUPA) has commend the Ministry of Education led by sector minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, for introducing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education at the basic school level.The initiative, to be referred to as BSTEM, is meant to equip young Ghanaians with essential skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, fostering a solid foundation for future careers."This visionary initiative aligns with EDUPA's mission to promote innovative and inclusive education policies," EDUPA said in a statement on Monday, November 4."We're optimistic that this initiative will enhance STEM literacy and critical thinking skills,prepare students for emerging industries, and advancements."EDUPA applauded the Ministry's "forward-thinking" approach to education."Introducing BSTEM at the basic level sets Ghana on a path towards producing innovative, tech-savvy, and globally competitive citizens."EDUPA urged stakeholders to support the Ministry's efforts and ensure successful implementation.It also pledged to monitor the progress of the initiative and provide expert guidance.
