The African Union (AU) Sports Authority Board has selected Olympian Reks Brobby to serve on the Technical Committee for the 2027 African Games, which will be hosted in Egypt.Brobby's appointment, confirmed during the AUSC's Ordinary Session in Algeria last month, aligns with the AU's commitment to integrating experienced sports professionals within the Technical Committee in accordance with Article (18) F of the AU Statutes.Following Ghana's successful organization of the 2023 African Games, this nomination is part of a broader strategy to place Ghanaians in influential roles within African and international sports governance.Brobby, known for his role as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the LOC during CAN 2008 and the 2023 African Games, joins a distinguished committee of sports experts from across the continent.AUSC Coordinator Dr.
