The Rotary Club of Accra-Kanda and other Rotary and Rotaract clubs, in collaboration with the Me BOAFO Foundation, successfully held a medical screening exercise at Asamankese in the Eastern Region on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

This humanitarian endeavour, held at the West Akim Municipal Assembly, drew over 200 beneficiaries who underwent vital health checks, including eye tests, breast cancer screenings, and educational sessions on healthy lifestyle practices.

According to Rotarian President Isaac Darko-Mensah of Accra-Kanda, "Today's event is a testament to the power of community service and collaboration.

We are grateful for the support from our partner clubs and the Me BOAFO Foundation, whose collective efforts have made a tangible difference in the lives of our beneficiaries." The exercise was part of the Rotary Club's broader initiative to promote health awareness and education among underserved communities.
