An Operative of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), James Agbey, has said that the allegation made by the Ashanti Regional Chair of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi) that the running mate to the flagbearer of the NDC, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang authored the Agyapadie document is is a mixture of untruths, blatant lies and clear misinformation. He says Chairman Wontumi's utterances are calculated to deflect attention away from the real issues contained in the Agyapadie document. Chairman Wontumi had opened that "Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman wrote the Agyapadie book and she deliberately did not attach her name to it. If you like look at her book she wrote and compare the things John Mahama came to say. During President Kufour's time it's the same thing they came to do," he alleged.
