Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has called for Parliament to reconvene on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

The session will be held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, bringing lawmakers back together to address crucial issues that have been on hold due to recent parliamentary deadlock.

The decision to reconvene follows an extended standoff in the House, ignited by Speaker Bagbin's declaration of the Fomena, Amenfi Central, Suhum, and Agona West seats as vacant.

This move sparked intense opposition from the Majority caucus, which argued that the Speaker's action effectively deprived them of key representation in critical parliamentary sessions.
