A recent survey by Afrobarometer has revealed that an overwhelming majority of Ghanaians, a substantial 82 percent, believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction.
This sentiment, while undeniably high, represents a slight improvement from 2022, when an even larger portion, 87 percent, expressed similar concerns about Ghana's trajectory.
This five-percentage-point decrease may signal a small shift in public sentiment, though the data still reflect broad discontent with the country's current state of affairs.
According to the survey, most Ghanaians are deeply dissatisfied with the economic conditions in the country and their living standards.
