The Medical Superintendent of the Ada East District Hospital, Dr Philip Narh, has advised the public to exercise regularly and eat naturally prepared foods to increase their chances of living a healthy long life.

Dr Narh revealed that canned foods and fast foods mostly led to health complications.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), he also disclosed that use of preservatives and spices increased blood pressure, noting that it was for that reason that hospitals disallowed the use of such spices in patients' foods.

According to Dr Narh eating late at night has become a major challenge to most Ghanaians as many workers closed late, forcing them to eat late.
