An operative of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) James Agbey has noted that some executives of the NDC are in bed with their main opponent, the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to undermine the campaign activities of the NDC.He said this is prevalent in Korle Klottey, Dome Kwabenya, and Awutu Senya West constituencies.In a statement, he said "Let me put on record that their anti-party conduct of undermining the party and doing business with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which is in gross violation of decency, reasoning, and the constitution of the NDC is being watched closely."As a matter of fact, we are closely watching them, and I can promise these traitors that there will be serious consequences for their open treachery against the NDC."The NDC is clearly winning the 2024 elections and we are closely watching and monitoring the party executives who are willing to do business with the NPP, and with the hope of cashing out on monetary and material gains."Below is the full statement…For Immediate ReleaseWednesday, October 30, 2024We are winning 2024: executives in bed with the NPP must watch it, James Agbey warnsI am alarmed by disturbing happenings in and around certain constituencies even as inch closer to December 7.In fact, there are ongoing moves in some constituencies, spearheaded by some of the chairmen, to undermine the parliamentary candidates.We are witnessing such ugly situations in Korle Klottey, Dome Kwabenya, Awutu Senya West and other places.There are other constituency executives who are busy cutting deals with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP)As long standing operative of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), I have personally toured the entire country and has extensively considered series of complaints raised against some of these constituency chairmen and executives.Let me put on record that their anti-party conduct of undermining the party and doing business with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which is in gross violation of decency, reasoning and the constitution of the NDC is being watched closely.As a matter of fact, we are closely watching them, and I can promise these traitors that there will be serious consequences for their open treachery against the NDC.The NDC is clearly winning the 2024 elections and we are closely watching and monitoring the party executives who are willing to do business with the NPP, and with the hope of cashing out on monetary and material gains.And we will deal ruthlessly with them and nip their actions in the bud.We won't allow a few elements to derail the party for their personal parochial interest.
