Transport operators in Assin Fosu are urgently calling on the government to address the deteriorating condition of inner roads, which they claim is significantly increasing their daily operational costs.

Speaking on The Constituency programme on Channel One TV, the drivers expressed their frustration over frequent vehicle breakdowns caused by the poor state of the roads.

They highlighted that, combined with rising fuel prices, these challenges are making it increasingly difficult to sustain their businesses.

Stephen Agyapong, a local driver, emphasized that Assin Fosu has only a few key inner roads, and their poor condition is taking a heavy toll on drivers.
