The lawmaker and minister of Sanitation stated that early detection entails performing monthly breast self-exams as well as scheduling clinical breast exams and mammograms.
She explained that the most appropriate course of action, as recommended by medical professionals, is to learn more about breast self-examination in order to increase the chances of early detection.
The MP made the suggestion when she joined a free screening exercise organised by Rainbow Radio 87.5FM in collaboration with the Trust Hospital.
