The National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has disclosed that politician and businessman, Chairman Wontumi born Benard Antwi Boasiako would be the first to be arrested for illegal mining otherwise known as galamsey under the NDC.
Sammy Gyamfi described the NPP government as thieves while asking about the drones allegedly bought to fight against the galamsey activities. "Thieves, they have stolen the drones".
He claimed on live TV.
He further accused the ruling party of also stealing some excavators at mining sites to hide them and deceived Ghanaians that the fight against galamsey was ongoing.
