The spokesperson for the John Dramani Maham campaign, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has questioned the swift shift from bread-and-butter issues to infrastructure in the lead-up to the election in 2024.
According to her, in 2016, the New Patriotic Party led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo told the people of Ghana to look deep into their pockets and vote wisely.
However, in 2024, she alleges that the government has paid influencers to promote infrastructure, including roads, among others.
Joyce Bawa Mogtari is shocked that effort is being put into the promotion of infrastructure by the current government. "We don't eat roads, we don't eat roads in 2016" weirdly enough in 2024 is paying and cajoling key influencers to promote roads as part of their propaganda for reelection.
