An Accra High Court has charged a 20-year-old interior decorator, Pearl Agbomadzi, with murder.
This is in connection with the death of a 74-year-old British national living in Ghana.
According to the prosecution, the deceased, John Scott Hughes, had invited Ms Agbomadzi to meet him at American House and subsequently took her to Philipo's Movie House, a popular location in East Legon, where he booked a room for them.
The prosecution's account states that Mr Hughes and Ms Agbomadzi, whom they described as his girlfriend, watched pornography together and engaged in a consensual sexual encounter.
