In a recent interview on Accra FM with Nana Romeo, Ghanaian music star Sefa opened up about the severe challenges female artists face in the industry, touching on a personal, traumatic experience to drive home the point.

Known for her hit "Echoke," Sefa didn't hold back as she recounted an incident in Kasoa where, after stepping off stage, she endured a shocking assault. "Yes, I have been harassed sexually," she admitted. "After performing at a show in Kasoa and I left the stage, I felt hands all over me… my breasts, my private parts… like men and women touching me.

It was so frustrating… that was where I really felt it." When asked why people would act this way, Sefa explained that fans might want to get closer to her but overlook the need for boundaries. "They all wanted to see me; however, they should know there have to be boundaries.

People shouldn't take advantage of such opportunities to do that," she emphasized.
