The Ghana Police Service has announced that the armed suspect in connection with the violence that happened at Mamobi between supporters of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) and the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has been arrested.
A few days ago, police went on a manhunt for the armed suspect placing a Ghc20,000 bounty on his head and urging the public to volunteer information leading to his arrest.
According to reports, the main suspect identified as Fatau Motorway, was captured holding a gun during the clash on October 13, 2024, at Mamobi, Accra.
Nine(9) people were injured in the mayhem, and it is believed that Fatau Motorway, who was seen on tape brandishing a weapon, triggered the violent situation.
