The government has announced full details on the funeral for the victims of the August 6 helicopter crash in Adansi Akrufuom, which claimed eight lives.
The ceremony, slated for Friday, August 15, 2025, will be a full military service conducted by the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, August 14, Deputy Chief of Staff, Stan Dogbey, noted that the funeral will take place in three parts; Bible and Qur'an recitals, the main service, and the burial at the Black Star Square.
The pre-burial programme will begin at 7:00am and end at 9:00 am.
