The Ghana Golf Association (GGA) will host a one-day workshop for sports journalists this Friday at the Bok Nam Kim Golf Club in Burma Camp, starting at 10 am.The workshop aims to introduce journalists to the world of golf and equip them with the essential skills needed for accurate and comprehensive reporting on the sport.Participants will gain valuable insights into golf reporting, including key language, techniques, and an understanding of new rules and changes in the sport.goal is to help sports reporters provide more accurate and detailed coverage of golf events across the country.Speaking to the Times Sports, GGA's Honorary Secretary and Tournament Director, Solomon Allotey, explained that the association has noticed some gaps in golf reporting and feels it's important to offer guidance."Covering the sport goes be­yond just scores and stats; this workshop is one of our many educational drives, designed to provide our journalists with the knowledge and skill levels as well as valuable insights, tips, and techniques to improve golf reportage," he said.The workshop will also serve as an opportunity for networking, and strengthening ties between the media and the golf industry.The GGA has arranged for experienced professionals with a wealth of knowledge in golf to lead the sessions, ensuring participants leave with a stronger understanding of the sport and the ability to report on it effectively.
