The Vice Chairman of Dr.
Bawumia's 2024 campaign team, Nana Akomea, has accused the NDC Members of Parliament of endangering Ghana's democracy.
Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' show on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Nana Akomea argued that Ghana's democracy is anchored on the Judiciary being the arbiter of legal disputes.
He portrayed the Judiciary as the "old lady" in Ghana, ensuring peace and stability and upholding the country's democracy, especially where there is political tension, as is currently happening in Parliament where the Minority has assumed the majority position in the House after the Speaker declared some seats vacant.
