The legislative proposals currently under review include: Ghana Thermal Authority Bill, 2024 Ghana Hydro Authority Bill, 2024 Ghana Power Distribution Authority Bill, 2024 Ghana Energy Regulatory Authority Bill, 2024 In its statement, the Ministry emphasized that suspending the bill will facilitate further consultations with all parties affected by the proposed changes. "The Ministry respectfully requests Parliament to suspend consideration of the aforementioned bills to enable us to hold consultations," part of the statement read.
