The First Deputy Speaker, , has expressed his disappointment with the 8th over the time wasted on unfavourable matters.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, he asserted that the current has been riddled with controversies that have tarnished the reputation of the House.
According to him, previous parliaments have accomplished much more in the passage of laws and legislation compared to what the legislators of the 8th have achieved in terms of lawmaking. "I am disappointed in the 8th parliament generally.
We have done very little in legislation and you can just take the number of laws and smaller legislations we have done.
