Former Member of Parliament for the Ayensuano Constituency in the Eastern Region, , has expressed strong opposition to the return of former President , asserting that Ghana has no reason to bring him back to power.

Speaking in a recent interview, on the Angel Morning Show, Ayeh-Paye questioned the rationale behind the call for Mahama's comeback bid, especially considering his past leadership record.

According to Ayeh-Paye, Mahama's tenure as president did not benefit the country, and there is no justification for Ghanaians to replace their trust in him a second time. "Some people are calling for to come and rule the country, but what I want to tell Ghanaians is that we [the NPP] can govern this country.

Therefore, we don't need former President Mahama," he stated emphatically.
