In the early hours of October 20, 2024, a single-storey building collapsed at Sokoban Wood Village in Kumasi.The Kejetia Fire crew were swiftly dispatched at 0245 hours and arrived in good time to find four workers trapped under the rubble.The team successfully rescued three individuals, while sadly, one worker was found deceased.The body was retrieved and handed over to the Police for preservation and further investigation.This incident emphasizes the critical need for strict adherence to safety protocols at construction sites and highlights the importance of prompt emergency response by GNFS in saving 3 precious lives.
