Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, President of the National House of Chiefs, has praised the government for the inauguration of the Royal Ghana Gold Refinery. He described the commissioning as a pivotal moment in Ghana's journey toward economic independence and industrial progress. In his remarks during the event on Thursday, August 8, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II highlighted the significance of the state-of-the-art facility, which has the capacity to refine up to 400 kilograms of gold per day.
"Today, we witness the dawn of a new era for Ghana. With the commissioning of the first London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Good Delivery Bar Certification focused State of the Art Gold Bullion Refinery, boasting a remarkable capacity of 400 kilograms per day, we are not only making history but also redefining our future. This facility represents our resolve to take our destiny into our own hands and refine our precious natural resources right here in Ghana," he said.
