NPP MPs stage walkout over declaration of 3 of their seats vacant by Speaker Bagbin

Heated moments in Parliament on Thursday, October 17, as Members of Parliament representing the (NPP) have staged a walkout from the House.

This was minutes after the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, ruled for three of their seats to be declared vacant.

The ruling also declared one seat belonging to a (NDC) MP vacant.

The now Minority leader, the Member of Parliament for Efutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has stated that the will boycott Parliament until the Speaker's declaration of 4 seats vacant in the House is settled at the Supreme Court.
