Ghanaian gospel artist Selina Boateng has firmly stated that all her accolades have been rightfully earned, emphasizing her dedication and hard work in the country's music industry. In an exclusive interview on UTV's Ucook show with her colleague Empress Gifty, she stated, "I've never bought an award; every award I've earned, I truly deserved." When asked about her favorite awards, Selina highlighted two special moments from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
She won Gospel Song of the Year in 2012 for her hit song "Minku Me Ho," which marked a significant achievement in her career.
