Thomas Tuchel has officially signed a deal with the Football Association to become the new head coach of the England national team according to media reports from the UK.
The 51-year-old German tactician replaces Gareth Southgate, who stepped down from his role in June following England's defeat in the 2024 European Championship final against Spain.
Tuchel, widely known for leading Chelsea to Champions League triumph in 2021, becomes England's first-ever German-born manager.
He had been out of work since his departure from Bayern Munich at the end of last season.
