Abstract This study investigates the impact of infertility on happiness among couples in Ghana and the Akan traditional communities of Ghana.

Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research examines the psychological effects of infertility and the coping mechanisms employed by affected individuals.

The findings reveal a complex interplay between infertility, societal expectations, and personal well-being, highlighting the need for comprehensive support systems to enhance the quality of life for infertile couples.
