The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Alex King Nartey, has provided details about the tragic accident that claimed the lives of two individuals after their car was burned to ashes in East Legon.

Eyewitness reports suggested that fire service personnel arrived at the scene very late, after significant damage had already been done, despite several calls for swift assistance when the fire started.

In response to the delays on Onua FM on Monday, October 14, 2024, Alex Nartey revealed that the absence of a fire station in East Legon was a major factor contributing to their delay.
