The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof.
Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has reaffirmed her party's commitment to establish a state-of-the-art fertility centre when the NDC wins the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Addressing NDC supporters at Camp Junction in the Bia East Constituency on Wednesday, as part of her three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region, she noted that the high cost of treatment of fertility cases poses a challenge to many people desirous of having their own children.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang said the fertility centre would provide a low cost service to families seeking to address fertility issues.
