Kwame Owusu Danso (KOD), the running mate of Alan Kyerematen and key figure in the Afrafranto Alliance, has pledged to transform Ghana's fishing and trading sectors under the Great Transformational Plan (GTP).
Speaking in an engaging interview on Benya FM in Elmina, KOD outlined key policies that promise to significantly improve the livelihoods of traders and fisherfolk across the country.
Among the most exciting announcements was the creation of the Traders Bank, a specialized financial institution aimed at providing much-needed support for Ghanaian traders.
KOD explained that the government would provide seed capital for the bank, but its ownership and management would rest with the traders themselves. "This is not just a bank for traders but a bank owned and run by traders.
