Protestors on day one of the Citizens Against Galamsey protest prevented the DJ from playing songs by Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale.

The 3-day protest begun on Thursday, October 2 and expected to end on Saturday, October 5.

The demonstrators objected to Shatta Wale's song because the artiste had tweeted on X days prior to the protest, making some comments which the protesters felt was against their cause.
