The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament, has referred Swedru School of Business and College of Community Health Nurses Training, Winneba to the Attorney General's department for prosecution.
PAC gave the directive when the two Schools appeared before it at Takoradi, where the Committee is probing the Auditored Reports of 2023 on Technical Universities, Colleges of Education, Senior High Schools, and Municipal and District Assemblies from Central and Western Regions.
Further, the Audit Report has cited Swedru School of Business for procuring stationary items in excess without following laid down rules in accordance with the Procurement Act.
The School authorities have disputed the Audit report adding that, they provided alternative quotations to the Auditors.
