JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant will be responsible for selling the company’s software products, onboarding new clients, supporting existing users, resolving customer issues and ensuring clients understand and use the system effectively.
ROLE-SPECIFIC
- Identifies and follows up on new sales leads.
- Demonstrates software features to prospective clients.
- Prepares quotations, proposals and subscription packages.
- Onboards new clients and guides them through system setup.
- Trains users on how to use the software.
- Provides first-level support by phone, WhatsApp, email or remote access.
- Logs client issues and follows up until resolved.
- Escalates technical issues to the development team.
- Maintains good relationships with clients.
- Follows up on renewals, subscriptions and outstanding payments.
- Prepares weekly sales and support reports.
- Collects client feedback for product improvement.
Requirements
Required Skills or Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or degree in IT, Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field.
- Good understanding of software applications.
- Ability to explain technical issues in simple language.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to work with targets.
- Knowledge of ERP, POS, or business software is an advantage.
- 1–3 years’ experience in software sales, IT support, customer service, or business development.
PERSON SPECIFIC
- Possesses strong communication and presentation skills.
- Basic sales and negotiation skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales and service targets.
